Seat Availability Scam IRCTC Website Used To Hack, Seized Tickets Worth Rs 22 Lakh-The Railway Protection Force on Wednesday raided different parts of the country through a software to expose a gang that used to cheat confirmed rail tickets. Now there are many types of revelations about this gang.

The RPF team also raided Bihar’s capital Patna yesterday in the same sequence, where this black marketing of tickets was being done through a bakery shop.RPF has arrested an Ace ticket broker in Patna who used to tout E tickets under the cover of his bakery shop. RPF Patna has seized e-tickets worth more than Rs 22 lakh from Dalal Kasif Zakir.

The arrested ticket broker Kasif Zakir is a resident of Agarwal Tola of Alamganj police station in Patna City. This broker named Mohammad Kasif Zakir used to create e-tickets through dozens of software and sell them to the passengers at high prices. RPF registered case number 464/20 under Section 143 Rail Act and sent him to jail on Thursday.

On the basis of secret information, when the RPF reached to raid, there was a bakery shop at that place. RPF could not understand this at first because the staff of the broker was sitting at the shop, but when the investigation was done later, Kasif himself used to work in the back of the shop to make an e-ticket. His house is also adjacent to the shop.

It is being told that the accused used to run a bakery shop for name only, whereas he used to be engaged in ticket brokerage day and night. According to the information, there were a large number of his customers in the rural areas of Patna, whom he used to make tickets and charged a higher price from them.

VP Singh, in-charge of RPF post of Patna Junction, said that he was constantly getting complaints of ticket brokerage from Patna City area. After receiving the complaint, Fatua’s team was hired to keep an eye on the broker.

However, he is being monitored, he got information about it, so he stopped making tickets after 5 September. After raids, tickets worth Rs 22 lakh four thousand and Rs 205 were recovered from him.

RPF said that the ticket broker Kasif used dozens of software to make e-tickets. Investigations after raids on Wednesday night revealed that he used dozens of software including Pro Real Mango, ANMS, Red Mirchi to book Tatkal tickets.

Through these software, he used to hack the website of IRCTC many times, then easily make tickets and sell them to people at high prices. In addition to using different IDs to create tickets, he also kept a delivery boy to supply tickets.
